Summer residence Koludarac

Holiday house on the island of Koludrac is located on an isolated part of the coast. The island itself is located at the beginning of the Lošinj bay; the main access over to the lot is from the seaside. Vehicular traffic is prohibited on the island.

On the lot surrounded by dry stone and greenery a new holiday house has been proposed instead of the already existing object. The new object is elongated and is partially sunk into the ground, and it follows the slope of the terrain towards the sea, installing itself in between the parallel lines of the existing dry stone.

The orientation of this three leveled object is north – south, and all the main contents are organized in a way in which they open towards the seaside. The first floor contains sleeping facilities. The ground floor accommodates the kitchen with an exit to the terrace and the garden, and the dining room on the gallery. In the sub terrain, there is a gym and a sauna with a summer kitchen. On the same level outside, there is a pool and a sun bathing deck.
