Rusan arhitektura was founded in 1992; it was a step forward in the development of the architectural practice of architect Andrija Rusan, who had been a freelance architect up until that time.
During its practice, the office has dealt with tasks ranging in measure and typology, always approaching them with the same amount of enthusiasm and engagement, not calculating if certain tasks involve designing furniture and furnishings or if the tasks in question include more complex urban and architectural interventions.
During its work, the office has developed a net of professional associates in the field of landscape architecture, statics, installations, light design, whom they treat with the ultimate respect and trust.
In its practice, the office gives a considerable amount of attention to the continuity of tradition and context and to its caring relationship towards nature. It tries to keep its openness to research and new influx of information by staying in touch with the prominent currents in the world of architectural practices through the magazine Oris and the House of Architecture; both projects include intensive cooperation with important architectural figures.
