Apartment V

    This one-person apartment is located in a new building area of Moscow. The spatial organization is limited both by the fixed positions of the façade openings and by the reach of natural light coming from one side only.

    In the design concept, a functional distribution of space has been implemented (entrance – work – habitat – leisure), still enabling the space to be experienced as a whole.

    Dark leather wood panels in wenge veneer, chemically treated steel panels, stone wall panels in the sanitary rooms, a classical assortment of furniture were all requested by the investor in order to create a manly habitation.

    Ironically enough, as the project was coming to a close, the investor decided to start a family…
