Dašekovo House is located in Gornja Podgora, on one of the northern slopes of zhe Zagreb mountain. It was designed as an interpretation of a vernacular village house from Zagorje. In its form, the house is simply conceived; it is a volume with a gabled roof and a few modernist elements: a traditional porch on the north façade specific due to its details that were made applying contemporary vocabulary, the cube of the west façade on which there is a balcony – a belvedere, and the front façade shaped by different formats of glass that opens the house to nature. The interior had been designed in a moderate way, governed by the needs and habits of the family’s daily life.
