Every cemetery has the central cross. Such a cross and the accompanying area was designed for Christ the King Cemetery in Požega .
In 1998, an area of 12 ha on the outskirts of Požega was selected for a new cemetery.
The chapel, a farewell hall, mortuaries, rooms for priests and workers, sheds, the masonry fence around the cemetery, roads and the infrastructure were completed in 2006. The authors were given the opportunity to solve the urbanism of the whole area so graves are situated on the left and right side of the axis.
